Being asked to photograph another photographer’s family is such an honor, and quite a bit scary! I know what it’s like to always be the one behind the camera and never in front of the lens, so I’m glad that I was able to capture Shannon of Lifelong Impressions with her three sweet monkeys.

The White family lives down in Garner, and we met up at a couple of locations near their home. Shannon picked the most fun spots for us to use…tons of color and texture and fantastic light (of course!)

This bicycle was a fun idea of Shannon’s, and I love how these came out, especially with the bright red boots on Little Miss!

I could have died when we ran across this sweet wooden swing. I have had visions of using an old swing in a series of photographs of Macy…seriously, could it have gotten any better?!

A huge thank you to Shannon and the whole White family! And keep your eyes peeled, because soon Shannon is going to photograph MY family…and I CAN’T WAIT!
