Professional Headshots

Be True Headshots? Yes, yes! Sometimes it’s nice to photograph a person who will stay in one place and follow directions. And not have to be entertained by my special chicken dance. (Although I will break it out on you if you won’t smile for me, either!)

HEADSHOT SESSION ~ $225

• One hour session on location
• Up to 3 outfits/looks
• Includes CD of 12 images

The images on your CD will be in color and black & white. You’ll receive high-resolution images that may be printed up to 8×10 in size, as well as low-resolution images that are perfect for your online profile photos.

Getting the Most out of Your Headshot Session

• This seems obvious, but wear clothes that flatter you. Run them by your husband, your wife, your kids, your best friend, your neighbor, your dog. Select colors that you naturally gravitate toward.
• Choose outfits that will coordinate with your brand. For example, I would not wear bright reds or a lot of black in my photos. It just wouldn’t flow.
• Consider having your hair and make-up professionally done. Don’t go nuts and get all Glamour Shots on me, but do think about having a pro enhance your natural look. You’ll be so happy you did.
• Ladies: wear some lipstick! Now, I’m not a lipstick gal…I just don’t have the time or inclination to keep reapplying it or make sure it’s not rubbing off on my teeth, so I get it. But it does bring a certain polish to your images. And I promise to tell you if you have lipstick smeared down your chin.
• Men: shave. Again, seems obvious. Oh, and everybody: have a fresh manicure or neatly clip your fingernails, too.
