I'm Christy Johnson, and I'm a child & family photographer.
As the mom of two girls, I know all too well how precious and fleeting childhood moments are. They'll never be this little again; their wide-eyed fascination with the world will fade. Do you often think, "I want to remember this exact moment for the rest of my life"? Yeah, me too.
I'm a dreamer, a writer, a homebody. I love hot tea, good books, and old school hip hop. I believe in the magic and whimsy of childhood, and aim to capture forever the memory of a child's innocence, her personality. My girls are my muses and my studio is the world. My mission is to always Be True - to myself, to my art, and to the kids I photograph.
I am based in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina, & am available for maternity, newborn, child, & family portrait sessions on location throughout the Triangle.

LOVE everything about these … The location, the colors, the lighting, and, of course, your beautiful girls! Very nice work. (Also, I’m quite jealous of the sunshine. We have yet to see any of that up here in the northeast.)
