You may have already heard the news: Be True Image Design is partnering with other elite photographers around the country for Celebration of Smiles Day on Saturday, April 21. I am offering up a mini headshot session along with your choice of a 5×7 print or web-sized digital image in exchange for a minimum donation of $24 to Operation Smile.

Founded in 1982, Operation Smile is a worldwide children’s medical charity dedicated to helping children and young adults born with facial deformities. In as little as 45 minutes, one cleft lip surgery can change a child’s life forever. Every three minutes, a child somewhere in the world is born with a facial deformity. One in ten will not survive to see their first birthday. Those who do survive often live in isolation and pain.
For every 10 individuals photographed on April 21st, one surgery will be provided for a needy child. Be True Image Design hopes to offer 20 adults updated headshots and/or profile photos in order to raise at least $480…enough to change the lives of TWO children.
