Addie’s mom had just one request for her photo session with me: a great family portrait. And when mama really wants a particular shot, I will try my hardest to make it happen for her. So we started off with family photos, and caught this gem just one or two frames in.
Perfect!
With the family photo out of the way, we set out to capture dear Addie in all of her one-year old and newly walking glory.
And she was so excited to explore Fletcher Park she could barely stay still!
Any child photographer will tell you that capturing a child between about 1-2 years of age is a lot of work. At this stage, toddlers are all about exploring, testing out new skills, and short attention spans! They’re just busy, busy little creatures, so you’ve got to be quick on the draw. And highly entertaining!
Of course, even the busiest of girls has a quiet moment or two…
And some snuggles with mom are a must for every photo session!
This reminds me that I’m due for a photo with my girlies too. When was the last time you handed the camera off and got in the frame with your kids?
